Craven talks Scream 4

The good folks over at Bloody-Disgusting were lucky enough to chat to Wes Craven about the upcoming Scream 4 that Dimension has slated.

From B-D:

"It would take it being really as good a script as the first one was," explaining that he should also be compensated for his work on the franchise, "and the pay day reflects what I’ve done for that company and what Ive gone through on Cursed (laughs).”

When asked if he is involved at all in the new film's tory, he explained, “I don’t know his ideas at all. But they have made a deal with Kevin [Williamson] to write.”

Let's be clear: SCREAM 4 is not a remake!

I just wanted to clear a few things up here. Scream 4 will not be a remake. It is simply restarting the franchise, not rebooting it. People have taken "restarting" totally out of context. Now there, you have my word: S4 will NOT be a remake...I promise you!

Major Scream 4 Updates

Bloody-Disgusting has posted a few facts regarding Scream 4.

Fact #1: Kevin Williamson (writer of two of the SCREAM films (character credit on third)) is going to start writing a draft, although it may or may not become the shooting script (which is typical).

Fact #2: Wes Craven may or may not direct, but there is a very good possibility that he will return.

Fact #3: They are making financial offers to David Arquette, Courtney Cox Arquette and Neve Campbell to play cameos.

Fact #4: This will be a younger version of the SCREAM movies.

We're back!

As you can see, the site is back. But we're not quite back to where we were. I still need to upload a few favorites (character web, interactive script reader, old website archives, etc.), but that doesn't mean I'm not on my way! So just sit back, relax, and take a look at the all new Scream-Thrillogy. We also now have a gallery (which isn't totally complete yet, I still need to upload a few pics and perhaps change the theme). The Site Has Returned

I'm sorry to all of those who visited the site daily and were somewhat let-down when out of nowhere I've put a "Returning Soon" image on the main page. The reason being is that I had to shuffle some things around with my hosting situation. But all is taken care of now...and as you can see, there is a new layout unleashed.
