New Scream Fansite Emerges

I just found this site today, but apparently it has been online for a few weeks now (go figure). It's a little site called Scream Forever, and I'm actually happy to see it hosted on GeoCities. It reminds me of the good ol' days when just about every horror and movie news site was hosted there. I have also linked them here on the Links page. Here's to them having a good run!

Forum Revamp

Okay, it has come to my attention just how dull and "old school" our message board was. So I have given it a complete make-over...which, I think it not only looks better, but may be a bit more appealing. So what are you waiting for? Go there now!

Scream 4 Specs On IMDb...Hoax?

There was a recent post in the Scream 3 message boards of The Internet Movie Database (IMDb) that claims to be the details to the new Scream 4. For a series that has always been so tightly guarded in secrecy, this is a biggie. Not to mention the confidentiality agreements being broken. Read the RUMORS for yourself here.

David Arquette Talks Scream 4

Deputy Dewey (Woodsboro's finest!) has spoken out about the next Scream film. Apparently, like many of the fans, he wants to see the series return to its roots...and luckily, our good friends over at Ghostface.co.uk have the scoop. Click here to watch the video!

Worst Hairstyles In Film

I was reading up on some archives message boards from way back and noticed a large amount of people disliking Courteney Cox's Scream 3 'do. And I have to agree -- it is pretty atrocious. Don't get me wrong, Courteney is a knockout. How did it go from looking so good in Scream 2 with the "nice streaks" to straight, short bangs? Oh well, read up here.

It was brought to my attention the other day by "Ash" that the scripts on this site don't display properly in Firefox. So I fixed that by having them open in a new window and I went that extra mile and added one helluva feature that I guarantee you no other site has: Script Viewer! There is no explanation needed...just head on over to the scripts page and click on one of them...and be amazed...complete with shot lists, screen caps, and more!

Weinsteins Want Everyone Back

In a recent article published by Bloody Disgusting, they noted that they spoke to Jamie Kennedy and he stated that, "Bob wants us all to return in another film." Bob, of course, referring to Bob Weinstein, and "us all" likely referring to Neve, Courtney, David and Jamie. There could possibly be others as well (Roger Jackson, Patrick Dempsey, Lawrence Hecht, the recently-engaged Heather Matarazzo, Liev Schreiber, etc.), although that would be quite a bit less substantiated by Jamie's comments. He apparently also noted that there would likely be a new group of teens in the film.

Tara Reid Fans put up a petition for her to star in Scream 4!

Fans got an online petition for her to be in the new "Nightmare on Elm Street" Remake.. Then appears a topic on getting her in Scream 4... There is also a Myspace page for her too for Scream 4!!

Interview with Michael T. Kennedy

Hello there, Ghostface here, there's been a lot of news lately from all over the internet regarding Scream 4, and I like it a lot, it's good to see that it's finally announced and in progress of some kind. The scripts are still being looked at and decided on at this moment, one of those people who got their script and 30 page treatment into the Weinstein's is a chap named Michael T. Kennedy. I had some good luck and had the chance to interview him online. I asked several questions on his script from which characters were in it to his own favorite scary movie! Check it out on the link! Misc. site news; Wes Craven in talks?

First off, I have added a blog to the site to make updates a bit easier. Also, it allows for multiple authors, which I have added "Ash" from the message board as an author and have invited "Ghostface" (also from the forum) to join in. So hopefully this is better in the long-run.

Alas, Wes Craven has been indirectly approached by the Weinsteins via his agent about the proposed Scream 4. So let's cross our fingers that all goes well and, well, yeah, you know the rest...

So Jamie Kennedy has spoken about returning in the next Scream film. So will this just be another "rules video", flashback, or is he a full-on character?
